The Fireballs were a US rock and roll group formed in 1957 in Raton, New Mexico. The lineup included George Tomsco on lead guitar and vocals, Stan Lark on bass and vocals, and Chuck Tharp on rhythm guitar and vocals from 1957 to 1960. Dan Trammel played rhythm guitar on their first single in 1958. Eric Budd was the drummer from 1958 to 1962, after which Doug Roberts took over the drumming duties. Jimmy Gilmer joined the group in 1960, replacing Tharp as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
