The Fireflies were a Doo-Wop quintet from Long Island, New York, originally named after their first single. The group comprised members Paul Giacalone, Lee Reynolds, John Viscelli, Carl Girosli, and later Ritchie Adams, who is known for singing lead on their most successful hit, the 1959 release "You Were Mine." Over time, the lineup included Vic Puma, Fred Simmons, and Marco Gueli Jr.
