The Fireman is the alias for the electronic music experiments created by Paul McCartney and Martin Glover, known as Youth. The duo released their first album, Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest, in 1993, followed by Rushes in 1998. In 2000, Youth contributed to McCartney's Liverpool Sound Collage, which shares a similar style. Their most recent album, Electric Arguments, can be found on their website as well as in CD format. The title "Electric Arguments" is inspired by the poem "Kansas City to St. Louis" by Allen Ginsberg, as McCartney expressed an interest in the beauty of word combinations over their meanings. In February 2009, Sirius XM launched Fireman Radio, a limited-run channel dedicated to the duo's music. The acoustic guitarist in the band plays a Maple Taylor 12-String Jumbo.
