The Flowers was a Japanese rock band that began as a side project. They primarily played cover songs from the emerging psychedelic rock movement in the US and the UK, introducing music from various influential bands to the Japanese audience. The band disbanded after releasing their album in 1969. Following the breakup, members (including the drummer) recruited guitarist, vocalist, and bassist to form a new group.
