The Four Esquires were an American vocal group hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Active in the late 1950s, they achieved two notable hit singles on Paris Records. Their first single, "Love Me Forever," featured orchestral backing by Sid Bass and peaked at #25 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1957, while also reaching #23 on the UK Singles Chart. Their second hit, "Hideaway," included orchestral accompaniment by Richard Hayman and peaked at #21 in the U.S. in 1958. Although they were able to perform in moderate-sized auditoriums and served as a reliable support act in larger venues, the Four Esquires did not have any further chart entries and disbanded by the early 1960s. The group consisted of lead singer Bill Courtney and backing vocalists Walter Gold, Robert Golden, and Frank Mahoney.
