The Four Freshmen are an American male vocal quartet known for their unique and improvisational approach to harmony singing. They rose to prominence in the 1950s, with a repertoire that includes standards such as "Moonglow" and "The Christmas Song." Among their most recognized songs are "Day By Day" and "It's A Blue World." The group underwent a few membership changes, which eventually led to the inclusion of a cousin, resulting in the assembly of the Four Freshmen in all but name, with the finalization of their lineup occurring shortly thereafter.
