The Four Pennies were a pop group from England that gained popularity in the 1960s. They are best known for their UK #1 hit "Juliet," which notably was the only UK #1 in 1964 that did not chart in America. The band consisted of Lionel Morton as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Fritz Fryer as the lead guitarist, Alan Buck as the drummer, and Mike Wilsh, who played bass, keyboards, and provided backing vocals.
