The Friends Of Distinction were a vocal harmony soul quartet formed in 1966 after the breakup of a backing band. The group consisted of members who had previously worked with notable artists, and they later added two female singers, undergoing some changes throughout the years. They collaborated extensively with various producers and released six albums between 1969 and 1973. Unfortunately, the group disbanded in 1975 due to a lack of further commercial success. Their biggest hits include "Grazing In The Grass" and "Going In Circles."
