The Funky Drive Band, born in 2008, hails from the underground local Funk scene of Lyon, France. Comprising eight talented musicians and singers, the band features founding members Kâshif Kroch' and Bumpy T.T., who have gradually added other members over time. The group's music is a blend of Funk, Boogie, and Modern Soul, aligning with the Modern Funk Movement. The songs are composed and arranged by Kâshif Kroch', Jenny Lord, Push, and Omar, with lyrics penned by Kâshif Kroch', Bumpy T.T., and Hadia. Kâshif Kroch' and Bumpy T.T. also established R.$.J.Recordz, an underground Funk label focused on unreleased material from the 80s, and Boogie Foxx Records & Tapes, which specializes in Modern Funk. The Funky Drive Band has performed at various live shows and showcases in Lyon and Paris, as well as touring California, USA, alongside the Funk Freaks. They have opened for notable acts such as the B.B.&Q. Band, Junior Giscombe, Carmen, and Ago, with whom they also shared the stage. Current members of The Funky Drive Band include: - Bumpy T.T.
