The Gale Belle Quartet was a jazz quartet based in St. Louis, Missouri, active during the mid-1960s. They served as the house band at the Upstream Lounge until 1965, when Gale Belle was replaced. Following this change, Eddie rebranded the group as the Upstream Jazz Quartet, with the remaining three members continuing in the lineup.
