The Gaylads are a Jamaican vocal group known for being one of the top rocksteady vocal groups active in Jamaica between 1963 and 1973. The group was formed around 1964 when members met. In 1970, Delano Stewart left the band to pursue a solo career and was replaced by another member, who was subsequently replaced by yet another for some titles. The band continued as a duo until 1972 when BB also left for a solo career. At the end of the 1970s, BB and Maurice Roberts reformed the band with additional members under the name of the band and then another name.
