Gemini Five is a Swedish hard rock band formed in Stockholm in 2001. The group released their debut album, "Babylon Rockets," in October 2003, featuring their first single, a cover of Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)." Their second single, "Babylon Rockets," included additional tracks from the album and a demo version of "Get It Off," along with two music videos. Their sophomore album, "Black: Anthem," was released on September 2, 2005. The band draws inspiration from the American sleaze rock band Mötley Crüe, as well as other notable artists like Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Hanoi Rocks, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd. Gemini Five has a close friendship with the members of Hardcore Superstar, and the two bands have performed together multiple times. They have also shared the stage with Hanoi Rocks, Mustache, The 69 Eyes, Therapy?, Crashdïet, and Takida. On May 2, 2008, Gemini Five released the album "Sex Drugs & Anarchy," and in 2009, they received the Swedish Metal Award for "Best Glam / Sleaze." The band consists of members Stefan "Tin Star" Molander, Mikael "Snoopy" Jonasson, Roger "Hot Rod" Teilmann, Peter "Slim Pete" Henriksson, and Tom Wouda.
