The Ghosters were a garage rock group from Kalamazoo, Michigan, active during the 1960s and 1970s. The band consisted of members Mike Lewis, Don Jobe, Virg Callendar, Brian Steinke, and Guy Berley. Their name was inspired by the term "ghoster," which referred to soldiers during the Vietnam War who avoided work details by hiding when sergeants came around. These individuals were called "Ghosters" because they would vanish like ghosts.
