The Gospel Classics are a renowned gospel vocal group, celebrated for their international hit record "More Love, that's what we need." Hailing from Detroit, the group comprises members Melvin Reed, Leo Coney, Wilson DeShields, James Malone, Cleofas Tilmon, Elceanor Debose, and Charles Williams. Many of the members previously performed with other gospel groups and recorded for various labels.
