The Groove Corporation, currently known as G. Corp, originated as a production moniker for Electribe 101 records and remixes for other artists. After the dissolution of Electribe 101, the members continued under the name "Groove Corporation," while one member went solo. They later formed their own label and released their debut album "Co-operation" for Six6/, which was acquired by Sony just before its release. Unfortunately, the album did not receive much support from the new major label and, despite its brilliance, sank almost without a trace. The group continued as G. Corp and recorded the follow-up album "New Roots," which was not released until 2013. In the meantime, they released a series of dub albums. Currently, G. Corp is a duo, with Nordhoff and Cimarosti also being part of the group and producing under the G. Corp name.
