The Groupies were a garage rock band from New York, active during the mid-1960s. The lineup included Cooker on vocals and harmonica, Pete Hendleman on lead guitar, Ronnie Peters on guitar, Gordon "Gordie" McLaren on bass, and Bobby Cortez on drums. Managed and produced by Steven Venet, the band later relocated to Los Angeles before ultimately disbanding.
