The Guilloteens were an American garage rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1964. They are best known for their regional hits "I Don't Believe" and "Hey You." Despite not achieving national success, the band is now regarded as one of the more accomplished garage rock acts of their time. The group faced a setback when they were dropped by Hanna-Barbera after Louis quit in October 1965, leading to the withdrawal of the songs he recorded with them. Buddy DeLaney then joined the band, replacing Louis, and they signed a three-song deal with Columbia Records. However, the group disbanded around 1967 after their time with Columbia.
