The Harptones were an R&B vocal group formed in 1953 in Harlem, New York City. The lineup included Willie Winfield as the lead vocalist, Nick Clark as the first tenor, William Dempsey as the second tenor, Bill 'Dicey' Galloway as the baritone, and Billy Brown as the bass. Raoul J. Cita served as the pianist and arranger for the group.
