The High Confessions is a band hailing from Chicago, IL, and Hoboken, NJ, known for their metal, experimental, industrial, and psychedelic sound. Formed by Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, the group features industrial legend Chris Connelly, recognized for his work with Ministry, Revolting Cocks, and Pigface. Joining them are Chicago metal mainstay Sanford Parker, known for his contributions to Minsk, Nachtmystium, and Buried at Sea, along with engineer Jeremy Lemos from the band White/Light, who has collaborated with notable artists such as Bill Callahan, Jim O’Rourke, and Stereolab.
