The Hudsons are a U.K. band from Hanwell, West London, consisting of two brothers, Vicente (Vince) and Jude. Jude, the younger brother, was just 17 years old when they were signed by Streetwave Records boss Morgan Khan after he heard their demos. The demos were recorded in Khan's studio after the brothers responded to an advertisement for "free studio time," although Jude initially hesitated, suggesting Vince go alone. Their father, Jack, was a respected blues musician, and their sister, Rosita Yarboy, was a long-standing cast member of the original London production of 'Bubbling Brown Sugar,' also touring with the show overseas. Both Vince and Jude have a wide range of musical interests and continue to perform today.
