The Hunters were a British instrumental band that emerged in the early 1960s, hailing from the Cheshunt area of Hertfordshire. The band consisted of several members, including Norman Sheffield on drums and percussion, who was born on September 25, 1939, in Enfield, Middlesex, and passed away on June 20, 2014, in Cornwall. Norman Stracey played rhythm guitar and was born in 1941. Brian Parker, the lead guitarist, was born in 1940 and died on February 17, 2001. David Ian 'Buster' Meikle served as the lead vocalist, born on March 1, 1942, in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire, and is still living. The band also featured John Rogers on bass, who was born in 1941 and passed away on May 27, 1963, in Lincolnshire.
