The Innocents were a musical group from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California, consisting of Al Candelaria, Darren Stankey, and Jim West. They recorded a single for Andex titled "Time / Dee Dee Di Oh" in 1958 under the name The Innocents. Later, they changed their name and recorded for various labels, including Indigo Records, Reprise, Decca, and Warner Brothers. The group broke up in 1964 but reunited 20 years later, with Joe Campbell joining the group to sing Darren's vocals during occasional appearances.
