The Jackson 5 were a musical group consisting of five brothers—Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael—originating from Gary, Indiana, USA. They were led by their father, Joseph Jackson. Initially known as The Jackson 5, the group later changed their name to The Jacksons after switching record labels from Motown to Epic. Jermaine chose to remain with Motown, while their youngest brother, Randy, joined the group. The Jackson 5 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as performers.
