The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion was a rock band from New York City, formed in 1991 and active until 2016. The lineup included Judah Bauer on guitar, vocals, and harmonica; Russell Simins on drums; and Jon Spencer on vocals, guitar, and theremin. While their music was primarily rooted in Rock & Roll, they incorporated a diverse range of influences, including punk, blues, garage, rockabilly, soul, noise rock, R&B, and hip hop.
