The Knack is a Los Angeles-based power pop rock quartet formed in 1978. The band achieved its first hit in 1979 with "My Sharona," followed by "Good Girls Don't." Although The Knack initially broke up in 1982, the band members maintained good relations and reunited several times, experiencing additional breakups. The original lineup included members on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, lead guitar and backing vocals, bass, and drums. Not to be confused with other bands.
