The Latin Brothers is a Colombian salsa band established in the early 1970s, specifically in 1974, as a sister act to Fruko y sus Tesos under the Discos Fuentes label. Currently led by Rafael Benitez, who plays the timbales, the group is known for its vibrant sound and contributions to the salsa genre. One of their most famous songs, "Las Caleñas son como las flores," has become an anthem for the city of Cali, Colombia. This track was featured in the video game Scarface: The World Is Yours and has inspired British-born, Colombia-based funk artist Quantic. The band may also be referred to as "Los Latin Brothers."
