The Left Banke is an American baroque pop band formed in New York City in 1965. The group disbanded in 1969 but has reformed on several occasions, including in 1971, 1978, and from 2011 to 2012, as well as in 2015 and onwards. Keyboardist and songwriter Michael Brown passed away on March 19, 2015, and singer and founding member passed away on January 14, 2020. It remains unclear whether the band will continue.
