The Lemon Pipers were an American band formed in the Oxford/Cincinnati, Ohio area from 1966 to 1970. The group emerged from a unique collaboration involving Tony and the Bandits, Ivan and the Sabers, and the Driving Winds, who exchanged lead singers. Although they were associated with Bubblegum Pop, The Lemon Pipers were a 'real' band, playing on all their recordings. Some members later went on to form another band, which achieved further success.
