The Living is a punk rock band hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 1994, the band originally performed under the name "The Runaway Boys" from 1990 to 1993. The current lineup includes Chris Cheney on vocals and guitar, Scott Owen on double bass and backing vocals, and Andy Strachan on drums and backing vocals. Cheney and Owen have been with the band since its inception, while Strachan joined in 2002. The band has seen former members, including Joe Piripitzi, who played drums from 1994 to 1996, and Travis Demsey, who drummed from 1996 to 2002.
