The Memphis Horns is an American horn section renowned for their contributions to nearly all of Stax Records' recordings. Originally formed as a sextet led by Wayne Jackson and Andrew Love, the group eventually became a duo featuring Jackson on trumpet and Love on tenor sax. They are known for their horn work with various artists and have an extensive credential list that includes backing numerous acts. In recognition of their significant impact on music, the Memphis Horns received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
