The Motels are an American band formed in 1975 in Los Angeles, California. The band originated from a group called the Warfield Foxes, which was based in Berkeley and included members Dean Chamberlain and Chuck Wada. The original line-up of The Motels featured Dean Chamberlain, Richard D'andrea, Robert Neuman, and Chuck Wada. The second line-up included Martha Davis, Brian Glascock, Michael Goodroe, Jeff Jourard, and Marty Jourard. Other members who have been part of the band include Tim McGovern and Scott Thurston.
