The Motors were a UK punk and new wave group formed in London around 1977. They achieved significant success with their hit single "Airport," which reached number 4 on the UK charts in 1978. Their follow-up track, "Forget About You," came close to replicating this success but narrowly missed the top ten. The group disbanded in 1980 after their final song peaked at number 58.
