The Moving Sidewalks were an American psychedelic blues rock band formed in Houston, Texas, during the late 1960s. The four-member group released several singles and an album before their activities were halted when bassist Don Summers and keyboardist Tom Moore were drafted into the army. Following this, guitarist Billy Gibbons and drummer Dan Mitchell went on to form another group. In 2013, The Moving Sidewalks briefly reformed with their original lineup to record an EP that featured remakes of some of their classic songs.
