The Neighb'rhood Childr'n were an American psychedelic pop/rock band formed in 1963 in Phoenix, Oregon. Initially starting as a teen band playing surf music and R&B, the original lineup included Rick Bolz, George Gleim, Dyan Hoffman, John Morrison, and Gary Campbell. After releasing a single on a local label, they moved to San Francisco and became part of the psychedelic rock movement. Following the drafting of Morrison, Tom Ryan replaced him on drums. Eventually, Campbell and Gleim joined the reserves, leading to Ryan's departure as well. They were then joined by Ron Raschdorf on guitar and W. A. Farrens on drums. The band changed their name from the Navarros to The Neighb'rhood Childr'n and recorded a self-titled album released in 1968 on the Acta label, which has since become a collector's item. They toured extensively, opening for notable acts such as The Who, The Grass Roots, Deep Purple, and The Beau Brummels, and even went on a short tour with The Turtles. After facing challenges on tour, they shifted their focus towards religion and changed their name to White Horse. A second album recorded for Dot Records was never released due to the company's closure, and the group disbanded in 1970.
