The New Library Sound is a project by German music producer Christian Stüllenberg, focused on creating imaginary soundtracks that evoke the pioneering phase of electronic music and the unique production music of the late 60s and early 70s, embodying a distinct Retro-Futurism. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Sven Libaek, Piero Umiliani, Henry Mancini, Esquivel, Jean-Jacques Perrey, Air, and Kraftwerk, The New Library Sound prominently features analogue modular synthesis, complemented by natural instrumentation including keys, mallets, chimes, various percussions, and sampling.
