The Nick Straker Band was a UK pop-funk-fusion band led by its namesake. They evolved from a previous group and shared members with an electro pop outfit. The band achieved notable success with their biggest hits, "A Walk In The Park," which reached No.20 in the U.K. chart in 1980, and "A Little Bit Of Jazz," which peaked at No.35 in the U.S. R'n'B charts and reached No.1 in the dance charts in 1981.
