The Nite Hawks were an early 1960s musical group known for playing rhythm & blues and doo-wop to earn money during a time when jazz artists were not well-compensated. They released one 7" record on Del-Fi Records under this name. After transitioning to focus solely on jazz, they released their first 7" on Pacific Records as the "Night Hawks," featuring the tracks "Bunny Ride" and "Sweenie Lester." Eventually, they changed their name to the "Jazz Crusaders."
