The Oroonies are a British band known for their largely instrumental, psychedelic space-rock and folk fusion sound. Formed in the early 1980s, they existed for around a decade, with some members participating in other projects, including a sideline acoustic endeavor. The band was revived in 2012, featuring three original members: Joie Hinton, Tanya Horn, and Boris Orooni. Since their revival, they have released four CDs and performed live gigs starting in 2017, continuing to create disorientating psychedelia.
