The Pagens were a garage rock band from Dearborn, MI, formed in 1965 by four school friends: Bill Mueller (lead guitar, vocals), Mike Klein (rhythm guitar, vocals), Wayne Hall (bass, vocals), and Randy Meyers (drums, vocals), all of whom were thirteen years old at the time. The band released their sole single in 1968/69, which has since become highly sought after by collectors. In the early 1970s, the group changed their name and Mueller joined Bob Seger's backing band, contributing to two of his albums.
