The Painted Ship was a 60s garage punk band hailing from Vancouver, Canada. Active from 1965 to 1971, the group consisted of Bill Hay on lead vocals and harmonica, Barry Rowden on drums, Bob Rowden on lead guitar, and Ken Wain on organ. They had a preference for recording with Robin Spurgin.
