The Pearly Gatecrashers were a twee pop band hailing from Sydney, Australia, known for their success primarily in Asian markets, particularly Japan, during their time with Shock Records. The band's guitarist and songwriter, Tim Butt, later formed a new group called Blandville. In 2008, the band regrouped to compile "But Wait There's More," a collection of songs recorded over the past decade.
