The Pheromoans are a 6-piece DIY experimental rock band hailing from the South East of England. Their music captures the mundane yet surreal aspects of everyday life, addressing the restlessness, boredom, and absurdity that often accompany it. They create songs that resonate with those on the fringes, embodying moments of reflection while standing on the bus or gazing out the window, all infused with vibrant, sprawling sunshine. Over the past six years, The Pheromoans have released a diverse array of recordings, including EPs, 7"s, mini-albums, and LPs, through various labels such as Night People, Convulsive, Sweet Rot, Monofonus Press, Clan Destine, and their own imprint, Savoury Days. Their sound is characterized by a ramshackle, wayward rock ethic, supported by lyricist Russell Walker's dry, observational musings that weave a diary-like narrative throughout their songs.
