The Pied Pipers were a popular singing group that gained prominence in the late 1930s and 1940s. In 1938, two vocal groups merged to form this supergroup, which initially started as a vocal octet. However, by late 1939, they had transitioned to a quartet and experienced several personnel changes over the years. The Pied Pipers were recognized for their contributions to music when they were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001.
