The Pleasure Seekers was an all-female American band formed in 1964 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, by sisters Patti and Suzi Quatro, along with sisters Nancy and Mary Lou Ball, and Diane Baker on piano. Baker was soon replaced by Arlene Quatro. The band released their first single, "Never Thought You'd Leave Me," in 1964 on Hideout. In 1965, Nancy Ball left and was replaced by Darline Arnone. In 1968, they signed with Mercury and released a second single, "Light Of Love." In 1969, they changed their name and pursued a heavier musical direction. Arlene Quatro took on the role of the band's manager, and Nancy Quatro joined as the new drummer. Suzi Quatro left the group in 1971 to pursue a successful solo career, and the band ultimately disbanded in 1973.
