The Preachers were a garage rock group based in Los Angeles, California, active during the mid-1960s. The band consisted of members Richard Fortunato on guitar and Steve Lagana on drums. Along with bassist Patrick Burke, they evolved their sound and shortened their band name after releasing two 45s.
