The Pretty Things were an English rhythm and blues, psychedelic rock, blues rock, and progressive rock band formed in London in 1963. The band disbanded in late 2018. Following the death of lead singer Phil May in 2020, they released a final acoustic album featuring recordings from 2019. The original lineup of the band in 1963 included Phil May, Dick Taylor, Brian Pendleton, John Stax, and Viv Prince. The final lineup in 2018 consisted of Phil May, Dick Taylor, Frank Holland, George Woosey, and Jack Greenwood.
