The Primates were a 1960s garage band hailing from Astoria, NY. The group consisted of John Demetrious on lead vocals and guitar, Gus Kaselis on organ and tambourine, Barry Bozzone on lead guitar, James Hartofilis on bass, and Joseph Ferdinando on drums.
