The Pyramids is a spiritual Afro-jazz-influenced ensemble founded in Paris in 1972 by members who met at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where they were students. The group recorded three independent albums in 1973, 1974, and 1976, before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area and disbanding in 1977. The Pyramids reformed in 2016, releasing new music on the label, as well as reissuing their 1970s albums and archival recordings.
