The Rainmakers are a rock band based in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Formed in 1983 as a three-piece bar band, they gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s, achieving a string of hits in the United States and Europe, particularly in Norway. The band is fronted by Bob Walkenhorst, who handles vocals, guitar, and harmonica. Current members include Rich Ruth on bass and vocals, Pat Tomek on drums, and Jeff Porter on guitar, piano, and vocals. Past members include Steve Phillips on guitar and vocals, and Michael Bliss on bass and vocals.
