The Rance Allen Group was a family vocal and instrumental soul and gospel ensemble hailing from Monroe, Michigan, USA. The group consisted of brothers Rance Allen, who was born on November 20, 1948, and served as the lead vocalist, pianist, and guitarist; Tom Allen, who contributed vocals and played the drums; and Steve Allen, who also provided vocals and played the electric guitar. Rance Allen passed away on October 31, 2020, in Sylvania, Ohio.
